Sit at the head table and look out at a panoramic view of the gorgeous grounds, including the stripped-back new rotunda and paved ceremony area. When the lights go down, you’ll love the glowing backlit onyx bar that adds to the vibe of the evening.
Then And Now
We’re often asked what changes have been made to Abel Estate when it was transformed from its previous incarnation of Gracehill. As well as changing the style of service, the menu and hire item offerings, we’ve created a new, more modern look, replacing the dark carpet inside the main venue building with light wooden floors and moving the bathroom block to reveal a panoramic view from the bride and groom’s table towards the vines, trees and lake.
At the main ceremony space, the red roof of the rotunda has been removed to create a lighter, more spacious, contemporary look and feel. Gone are the old wooden pews, with guests no being seated on a paved surface with white folding chairs and a hedge enclosing the area.
