Mandap Ceremonies And More
With a capacity of 100 guests, Abel Estate works well as an Indian wedding venue for mandap ceremonies and other smaller wedding days.
If you don’t have a mandap organised we can help put you in touch with suppliers and stylists who’ll work with us to have the venue looking just how you’d like it. Or even easier, you can decorate our outdoor rotunda as your mandap – a popular choice.
We can also arrange mats for attendees to be seated on the floor or paved area for Sikh weddings.
The aim of our staff is to deliver a culturally-appropriate ceremony in stylish and comfortable surroundings for you and your guests.

Yes. Abel has two mandap-friendly ceremony spaces, with flexible set-ups for traditional vows and rituals. Our team can talk through the best option for your guest numbers, timing, season and weather plan.
Can we have an open flame ceremony?
Enclosed flames are approved. Please ask us about this during planning. Open flames depend on the ceremony location, fire safety requirements, weather conditions and any venue restrictions in place at the time. We will work through what is possible and what the safest set-up would be.
Do you offer Indian food?
Yes. Abel offers an Indian menu option, along with cultural dishes and dietary requirements that can be discussed as part of your package planning. We will talk through food, service style and guest needs before the day.
Can we have a vegetarian or alcohol-free wedding?
Yes. Vegetarian requirements and alcohol-free wedding options can be discussed as part of your planning. We can talk through food, drinks and service arrangements so the package fits your family and cultural expectations.
