Yes. Abel is suited to Chinese weddings of up to 100 guests, with exclusive use of the venue and grounds. The lake, gardens, indoor spaces and photo locations give you a private setting for ceremony, photos, dining and celebration.
Can we include Chinese wedding traditions?
Yes. We can talk through the traditions and family moments you want included, such as tea ceremony, family blessings, speeches, outfit changes and photography. Our team will help work these into the timing and flow of the day.
Is there space for a tea ceremony?
Yes. Abel can provide suitable spaces for a tea ceremony, depending on guest numbers, timing and the overall wedding layout. We can talk through whether it is best before the main ceremony, during photos or as part of the reception flow.
Can we choose food that suits our families?
Yes. Abel offers food and drinks package options, with cultural dishes and dietary needs discussed during planning. We will talk through guest preferences, service style and any specific requirements before the day.
Can we have extra time for photos and family moments?
Yes. Abel has 12+ on-site photo spots, including the lake, vines, gardens, hills, interiors and estate grounds. We can help plan photo timing around family groups, outfit changes, tea ceremony and sunset where possible.
What happens if the weather changes?
Abel has indoor and covered options if the weather does not suit an outdoor ceremony or photos. We will talk through the wet-weather plan and guest flow before the day so everyone knows what will happen.
